How fast will I see results?

Will Diatomaceous Earth harm my plant?
No, The only ingredients in the Gnat kits are Diatomaceous Earth and BTI. Diatomaceous Earth is a fossil powder comparable to a fine seashell powder that affects insect's exoskeleton and provides a barrier on the topsoil and dissolves in time with watering or can be mixed into the soil for a more attractive look once the gnats are gone.
Will BTI harm my plant?
No, BTI is a helpful bacteria that doesn't affect your plants or roots in any way. Gnat larva will ingest the bacteria and die within hours and the bacteria itself will die eventually. As long as you water with the BTI Tea only on your plants watering schedule so that the plant doesn't get overwatered and create root rot killing the plant.
Is this safe to use indoors?
Yes. The kit is designed specifically for indoor houseplants. Always apply as directed and keep loose materials away from pets and children, just as you would with any household plant care product.
Are these kits safe for pets and children?
Yes! Just like powdered sugar or flour your lungs wont appreciate inhaling it so spread DE with care or wear a dust mask or cloth over your nose. There are no chemicals in the kit, it's all natural. However, keep them out of direct reach as they are sticky and not meant to be touched.

Does it come with Directions?
Only the kits come with directions, if you purchase BTI or DE alone then you may use to your discretion.
BTI is typically used by soaking 2 TBL spoons per gallon of water for at least 2 hours so that the helpful bacteria activates. If you don't have teabags you can just pour BTI granules directly in your watering can and scoop out with a spoon, they will eventually mold if left on top soil.
Diatomaceous Earth can just be spread on the topsoil enough to form a nice barrier. Your plant will still be able to breathe and when the gnats are gone the DE powder can be mixed into the soil and will eventually dissolve in time after several waterings/
